1967 Shelby Mustang GT500

After releasing the 1964-66 Mustang designs last year, we have since been getting a few requests to do Shelby Mustangs. I am now happy to bring to you the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 design, and is now available here in both single and collage designs in a number of colours.

When Ford released it's 1967 Mustang, it came as little surprise when the 428 Shelby appeared shortly after. For 1967 Shelby had Chuck Mchose and Pete Stacey substantially alter the Mustang's appearance.

The 67 Shelby GT350 was powered by the modified high-performance 289, but a special 428 was used in the big-block model, which was crowned the GT500. Most of these were available with a Shelby version of the Police Interceptor powerplant, with dual 600 cfm Holleys on an aluminium medium-riser intake, a heavy-duty cam, and 10:5:1 compression which delivered 355 hp and 420 ibs.-ft. of torque.
